Earth Day Columbus has been the largest volunteer event for Earth Day in the country for many years.
Due to the stay at home order from Governor Dewine we are postponing all volunteer events until it is safe. We are still planting 31,000+ trees with professional partners in safe settings. We also still want to collaborate with you to clean up our watersheds, parks, and neighborhoods and help our community gardens. We will all just have to be a little patient. Stay in touch.
Postpone your service site
We have heard from many companies, organizations, student groups and individuals that they are eager to make Columbus and Central Ohio a cleaner and greener place to live. We will help you host your service event at a later time. When it is safe again. We will keep your service sites available until the end of October and connect you with volunteers when it will be allowed again. We will work with you to keep all projects shovel ready.
Ready to take the next step?
We all want Columbus and Central Ohio to be a little greener! You can participate in our Earth Day @ Home campaign on social media. throughout the remainder of April. Once it will be ok for people to volunteer we want you to host/volunteer at one of many service sites in your area and remove trash, or a work in your community garden. Then tell your friends, family, and others that they can come and help!
If you are interested in connecting with a service site through your office, church, or organization, but are not sure where to start, we will work with you to get you going. Just be a little patient. In the meantime participate from your home.
