Join us rain or shine at Genoa Park (near the river by COSI) downtown for a day-long celebration featuring great local bands, family-friendly activities, eco-friendly artisans, an electric vehicle ride & drive, and Columbus' best food trucks. See you there!

We are proud to partner with the City of Columbus to co-host the Green SpotLight Awards this year on stage from 12pm to 12.40pm. Hear updates on one of the cities most popular programs: The GreenSpot program. Three organizations will win recognition in small, medium and large business categories. Brought to you by AEP Ohio.

We will be selling a limited number of Green Columbus steel cups that come with a discount for your alcoholic beverage. They are cool and go really well with our Earth Day t-shirts this year. But once they are gone, they’re gone.


Middle Western Spirits once again classes up our celebration by bringing their signature OYO Earth Day Cocktail. Sophistication meets sustainability in a delicious mixed drink. A real crowd pleaser.



COSI will take center stage between musical acts and wow everyone with science experiments at 130pm, 245pm and 415pm.

Smart Columbus

Smart Columbus invites you to learn about electrification of mobility and smart solutions for a mobile Columbus. See the latest electric cars, ride e-scooters and chat with insiders. COTA will show its low emission bus.

EV Tailgate

In partnership with Smart Columbus and Drive Electric Ohio get first hand info from people who drive electric cars on a daily basis. They are happy to share their knowledge and experience. If you are thinking about getting an EV there is n better way to gain unfiltered insight then asking actual customers.


Start your Earth Day Celebration right with a free yoga class at 11am before all the festival activities begin. Led by experienced yoga instructors from Heartfelt Yoga Studio this session will leave you relaxed and happy. Midway festival restoration yoga at 4pm to find your inner center again.

Getting There

Come as you are! We recommend you arrive by:

  • Bike - a valet organized by Yay!Bikes will be available on the corner of Washington Blvd and Broad St.

  • Bus - COTA is always available, and the Circulator Line (CBus) is the easiest way to move downtown

  • Carpool and spend even more time with friends!


Don't forget

  • Please bring good vibes and positive energy!

  • Please adhere to all parking rules and laws. Green Columbus is not responsible for lost or stolen property. Lost and Found located at Green Columbus’ tent located next to the fountains at Genoa Park.

  • Outside street food and outside alcoholic beverages as well as plastic bottles are not permitted within the cordoned area at Genoa Park for the duration of this zero-waste event. Please bring reusable water bottles and food containers. Avoid plastic

  • Alcoholic beverages can only be purchased with a valid ID. Only two (2) drinks may be purchased at one time. Green Columbus event staff has the right to deny an alcoholic beverage to any guest at Genoa Park for any reason at any time.

  • Don't drink and drive home drunk. Drink responsibly.

  • Friendly pets permitted, but please mind environmental factors such as loud noises and young children.
